Foreman Matt Zeller and his crew installed our Wall Anchor System to fix the cracked foundation and our Waterproofing System to transform Mr. Geerts basement into a dry, functional space.

Bill L. in Saint Ansgar, WI had a bowing wall in his basement, so he started looking into repair options. While researching foundation repair, he came across American Waterworks’ website. Our production team drilled small holes in the wall and inserted long metal rods. The metal rods extend through the wall and into the soil outside of the home. Then, the rod is secured with metal plates on each end. They tighten the anchors and the wall starts to straighten and stabilize. The anchors can be tightened over time so that the foundation wall gradually becomes straighter and straighter. Our wall anchors are guaranteed for a lifetime, so Bill is glad he chose the right solution to secure his home for the long-term.

This Austin, MN homeowner contacted American Waterworks after noticing the north-side of his exterior foundation was crumbling and failing. Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his crew installed 7 PowerBraces against the walls. PowerBraces are strong steel I-beams that have a special rust-resistant zinc coating to ensure that your system will look and perform like new for years to come. By installing the PowerBraces, we immediately halted the inward movement of the foundation walls. The PowerBraces should be tightened over time, which can gradually straighten the walls. Alton was pleased with the end result and he is glad he chose to permanently restore his foundation.

Suzanne P. in Clarks Grove, MN was struggling with her sunken driveway. It had become a challenge for her to get in and out of the garage with her wheelchair because of the large bump. She stopped by the American Waterworks booth at a local home show and was pleased to learn about our concrete repair solutions. Our Design Specialist, Pete Wangen, went to her home to inspect her concrete, develop the right solution for her situation and provide her with a FREE estimate. She enjoyed working with Pete and was eager to have her concrete raised so, she scheduled to have our crew come out as soon as possible.
Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the driveway needed to be raised. Then, they injected a polymer foam called PolyLevel, until it was raised to be even with the garage floor. Lastly, they filled the holes with concrete and sealed the cracks in the driveway with our NexusPro sealant. The sealant helps to protect the concrete and also gives it a nice, finished look. The process only took a couple of hours, and Suzanne was amazed with the finished product! She was impressed with how polite our crew was and how quickly they completed the project. She is very happy she chose American Waterworks to repair her concrete!
