Nick has been with American Waterworks since the spring of 2017. He attended a three-day conference in Connecticut, called Service University, where he learned how to perform an annual service. Nick helps our service department maintain over 20,000 warranties. When doing annual service to maintain our products, he makes it a priority to see if the customer is having any other problems that he can help solve. Nick wants to make sure each customer is completely satisfied with the work we've done.
Nick enjoys working for American Waterworks because he likes having the chance to help people and make them smile. He also enjoys that he gets to be out and about, traveling to new places and meeting new people. In his spare time, he likes to workout, play basketball, hike, go fishing and ride his dirt bike.
We are thrilled to have Nick on the team!
Martin D. in Lansing, IA has a two-story home with a walk-in basement built into a steep hillside. His home was built right next to the Mississippi River. They have had problems with their basement flooding for several years, especially during heavy rains. They were tired of dealing with a wet basement, so they contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Mike Radosevich, went to the home to inspect the basement and provide them with the right solution. After meeting with Mike, Martin felt confident in our company and our products, so he chose to have our waterproofing system installed.
Our Foreman, Hugo Sanchez, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor, a TripleSafe sump pump in the corner, and a SaniDry dehumidifier, which keeps the humidity in the basement under control. The drainage system guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Martin is happy with the outcome and has been able to enjoy a dry, healthier basement since the installation!

A homeowner in Hixton, WI was tired of dealing with the sunken walkway in front of their garage. The concrete had sunk over 3 inches and it created a large trip hazard. They saw a commercial for American Waterworks and gave us a call. They were pleased to learn that PolyLevel could raise their concrete and that it is a more efficient and affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair.
One of our PolyLevel experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the PolyLevel foam would be injected. He then injected the foam until the cement was once again level with the garage. Lastly, he filled the cracks of the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant, and the job was the complete. The process only took a couple of hours, and now the homeowner does not have to worry about sinking concrete for years to come!

Brian S. in Fountain City, WI had water coming up through the floor of his crawl space. It was causing high humidity and a musty smell, so he decided to have his crawl space inspected by a professional. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Mac Cole, to his home to provide him with a solution. After Mac thoroughly inspected Brian's crawl space, he determined that he would benefit from having his crawl space encapsulated. Brian agreed, so he moved forward with the installation.
Our crew installed drainage matting and our CleanSpace vapor barrier system along the floor of the crawl space and around the support beams. These products work together to keep moisture, pests, and potential mold growth out. They also help reduce Brian's energy bill by making sure energy is not lost through that space. The process took less than a day, and now Brian is confident that his crawl space will remain a dry, healthier and more energy efficient space.
