Reed Hudson from American Waterworks

With a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, working through solutions with people comes naturally. From presenting to architects, engineers and owners, to pouring concrete driveways and remodeling homes, there isn’t an aspect of the industry that I have not performed. This one-on-one interaction with homeowners is the perfect way to utilize skills learned from experience over the years to provide the best solutions to their home repair needs.

American Waterworks saw what an asset I would be to the company with my experience and eagerness to help people and brought me on board. I have been thoroughly trained and have earned the highly-esteemed title of “Certified Waterproofing, Concrete, and Foundation Repair Specialist” through Foundation Supportworks and Basement Systems International Contractor Network.

American Waterworks is a certified member of the Basement Systems network of dealers. Basement Systems is the world’s largest affiliation of basement waterproofing contractors.  American Waterworks is also a proud member of National Radon Defense and Foundation Supportworks.  All our representatives are fully certified to preform inspections and repairs.  We have over thirty products to solve the problems that yesterday’s systems presented. After

Sandra N. in Albert Lea, MN had her home tested for radon. When the results came back with high levels, she gave American Waterworks a call. Our Design Specialist, Reed Hudson, developed a plan that was unique to her home.

Our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, started the installation process by drilling a hole in the slab foundation of the home and connected a PVC pipe. The radon gas is drawn upward, and the pipe guides it to the fan. The fan draws and vents radon safely above and away from the home. Sandra is glad she took the necessary steps to protect herself and her family.

Concrete Driveway Lifted and Restored in Ellendale, MN
    After

Bruce W. in Ellendale, MN noticed that his concrete on his driveway was uneven in a couple of spots and was interested in making repairs and cosmetic changes to his home, starting with his driveway and sidewalk. His goal was to have the driveway completely level and have the cracks sealed. After researching concrete repair contractors and receiving estimates, he decided to have American Waterworks repair his concrete.

Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete to inject a polymer foam called PolyLevel. Once the foam is injected into the concrete, the foam expands and raises it. They injected the foam into multiple spots throughout the driveway and sidewalk until the concrete was raised and level to its original position. Then, they sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete and give it a nice, finished look. The process only took a couple of hours, and Bruce was very pleased with the results!
