A homeowner in Amboy, MN, tripped going to the front door of their home. Instead of letting the issue worsen, the homeowner looked for a solution. After viewing our impressive concrete repairs on our social media, the homeowners decided to work with American Waterworks. The homeowner visited our website and signed up for a FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, we sent our Design Specialist, Brad, to the home to provide the homeowners with answers. Following his detailed inspection, Brad determined that the patio was sinking into the ground. Brad provided the homeowners with a recommended solution to save their patio. After reviewing the solution, the homeowners agreed and the preparations began.

Our Foreman, Sam, and his crew arrived at the home and began by clearing all the items off the patio. Once the patio was cleared, the crew could begin injecting the PolyLevel underneath the patio and sidewalk. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that is used to restore the appearance and safety of concrete. The crew begins by strategically drilling small 5/8" holes into the concrete slab. Then, injection ports are installed in those small holes. Next, polyurethane foam is injected below the concrete to fill voids and raise the slab. Finally, the holes are sealed and smoothed to give a finished appearance. The crew successfully raised and leveled the patio to match the sidewalk. The patio looked as if it had been replaced. Our production team drilled rods through the brick wall to the soil outside of the home. They secured the rods with anchor plates on each end. Once the plates were tightened, Matt was able to visibly see a difference in the stability of the walls. The anchors will continue to straighten the walls over time as well.
