Allen S. in Arcadia, WI had standing water in two of the corners of the basement, causing humidity problems. He was tired of trying to deal with this problem by himself and decided it was time to involve a professional . He saw a commercial for American Waterworks and decided to give us a call. Shortly after, we had one of our Design Specialists out to his home to give him a FREE onsite estimate. 

Our Design Specialist built a personalized plan with Allen that would permanently waterproof his basement.. Our crew installed a full perimeter of WaterGuard, lateral feed lines through the middle of the basement to guide water to the WaterGuard, and a TripleSafe sump pump.

The WaterGuard drainage system directs any water seeping in to the sump pump. Once the water reaches the sump pump, it is then pumped through the discharge line and expelled to the outside of the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Allen has peace of mind that he chose to protect his basement for the long-term. Allen no longer has the frustration of dealing with standing water in his basement.

Patricia W. of Arcadia, WI had water leaking into her basement, causing flooding hazards and stains in her basement, due to the high percentage of iron. Iron ochre is a rust-colored bacterium that dissolves in water and attaches to pipes, and eventually results in complete blockage. To resolve the problem, she called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Hector Garcia, to learn more about our basement waterproofing repair products. Hector went to Patricia's home to inspect the problems and come up with a solution. After a thorough inspection, Patricia was comfortable with Hector's proposal, so she moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement floor, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our Iron Ochre Perimeter Drain. This system is ideal for managing difficult iron water problems. The wide-open design of the drain helps it resist clogs, while a removable lid allows for easy access and maintenance. Next, our production team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, cover any holes or divots, and provide the space with a neat and clean appearance. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Patricia was very thankful we were able to help serve her and her home repair needs!

Our Foreman and his production team began the project by jackhammering out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which prevents water and mud clogs, collects water leakage from basement walls, and serves as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our FoamMax Wall Panels, which reduces the condensation for moisture protection and prevents mold and humidity. Lastly, our Foreman and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners because it triples the protection, solves all three water problems in one unit, and comes with a battery back-up. To complete the project, our team backfilled the gaps with pea gravel and applied new concrete over them. Vanessa was happy with the repairs and had a great experience!
