Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with the Design Specialist's suggestions and production began. Our Formen, Dylon and his crew traveled to the home to begin the PolyLevel and NexusPro installation. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the slab. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel injection was finished, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks and replacing the joints. The crew utilized NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. The crew begins by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. After the NexusPro was installed, the crew applied a layer of the SealantPro on the sidewalk. Once everything was complete, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slabs. Next, they filled the holes with our PolyLevel solution and kept a close eye to make sure that the concrete was raised back to its former state. To complete the project, they sealed the points of entry and the joints next to the foundation with our NexusPro solution to keep the PolyLevel safe from the elements to ensure that the concrete would stay elevated for a long time to come. In the end, Jonathan was happy with his newly raised concrete and was thankful he no longer had to worry about trip hazards.
