Water Seeping into Basement in Mondovi, WI

Kathy S. in Mondovi, WI had water seeping into her basement that was causing damage to her home. She started looking for contractors that could help solve her problem and she came across American Waterworks on the internet. After reviewing our waterproofing solutions, she decided we were the best fit for her.

Mac Cole, one of our Design Specialists, went onsite to give her a free estimate. He developed a plan to install WaterGuard around the entire perimeter of her basement which would then drain to the SuperSump sump pump system. Once the water drains to the sump pump, it is then expelled through the discharge line into her yard and away from the house. Kathy's waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so she has peace of mind knowing that her basement will remain dry.

Our appointment center scheduled a time for Mac to go onsite to do a free inspection and provide a solution. Mac explained how to PolyLevel injection works, and how long the injection process takes.

One of our PolyLevel experts injected the foam and the entire process was finished within a couple of hours. Kevin was pleased that the process was quick, affordable and noninvasive. GeoLocks installed in Alma, WI

A homeowner in Alma, WI, was doing yard work when they discovered the foundation near the garage was separating. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner searched for a solution. Knowing that reaching out to a professional company would be best, the homeowner decided to work with American Waterworks. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, Brian, to investigate the issue. Following his investigation, Brian determined that the wall needed to be stabilized and garage floor leveled. Wanting to solve the issue, the homeowner agreed with Brian's suggestions. Once the plans were set, they were sent to the assigned crew.

Our Foreman, Oscar, and his crew arrived a the home and began by leveling the garage floor. To level the garage floor, the crew used PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of concrete. To install the PolyLevel, the crew strategically drills small 5/8" holes into the slab. Then, the injection ports are installed into the foundation. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected underneath the concrete to fill gaps and raise the slab. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. After completing the concrete leveling, the crew moved on to stabilizing the struggling foundation wall. To stabilize the foundation wall, the crew utilized Geo-Lock wall anchors, an innovative wall anchor system that stabilizes the foundation wall by anchoring the wall to untouched soil. First, the crew excavated a small section of the lawn to insert the first Geo-Lock anchor. Then, a small steel pole is pushed through the soil to connect to the interior Geo-Lock anchor. Once the Geo-Lock anchors are connected and secured, the crew covers the hole in the lawn. The homeowner was delighted by the job well done by the crew. During their search, the homeowner came across one of our PolyLevel installations. The PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. To stop the soil from sinking further, Chuck recommended that the concrete be lifted and leveled using the PolyLevel. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner agreed with Chuck's suggestion. Then, the plans were directed to our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew. A homeowner in Buffalo City, MN, was unhappy with the appearance of their driveway. They wanted a professional to complete the job, so they asked their neighbors for any recommendations. Their neighbors referred them to us, American Waterworks. The homeowner called our Appointment Center to sign up for their FREE estimate. Driveway Dilemma in Fountain City, WI

In Fountain City, WI a homeowner had been facing issues with his driveway. He was unhappy with how it looked from the outside, especially since a large crack had formed in one of the slabs. He also noticed the uneven slabs made a slight safety hazard for him and his family walking up and down the driveway. Deciding not to wait any longer for more possible cracking or settling of the concrete, the homeowner wanted to find a reasonable solution. Looking for companies that specialized in concrete repair, he came across a number of names. He compared and contrasted the options and American Waterworks' FREE estimate service caught his eye. Our appointment center was contacted by him, and we set up a meeting time for him and one of our Service Technicians, Clay Bassingthwaite. Clay arrived at the site a few days later for an inspection of the driveway. He figured out the concrete sinking was a result of the soil settling underneath and recommended using PolyLevel and NexusPro to help fix the problem. The homeowner was pleased with the solution and Clay sent the plans to the production crew. Our Foreman, Ryan Trogstad, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the installation of the products. The process began with a crew member drilling a pencil-size hole throughout the driveway and inserts ports through them. This acts as a connecting point to the empty space and voids below the concrete surface. The polyurethane formula was injected through the ports to slowly raise the slabs back up and once finished, the holes were sealed. Next, the crew prepped the area and cleaned out the slab joints and cracks before the NexusPro sealant was applied and smoothed. The filled areas were detailed with a thin layer of native sand to make the driveway look smooth and finished. The work done by the crew was done efficiently and the homeowner was pleased at the result.
