Richie went to their home, carefully inspected their problems, and came up with a solution that worked for them and their home repair needs. They were comfortable with Richie's proposal of our products and systems, so they went ahead with the project and scheduled an installation date.

Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent mud and water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water leakage from basement walls. Next, our production crew installed our SuperSump Plus M53 sump pump, which is designed to keep basements dry and works effectively with our WaterGuard. Lastly, our team applied our ShotLock Wall Restoration System around the basement wall perimeter, which is a spray-on solution that offers a fast alternative to demolishing and rebuilding a deteriorating foundation. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Megan and Andrew were happy with the repairs and had a great experience from start to finish!

A homeowner in Carrington, ND, noticed their energy bill was quite high. Not sure what made their bill go up, the homeowner decided to do some research into possible causes. After taking a closer look at possible causes, the homeowner noticed that an unencapsulated crawl space was listed as one. Once the estimate was set, we sent James, one of our Design Specialists, to take a closer look. James promptly arrived at the home and began his thorough inspection of the crawl space. James confirmed that the crawl space needed to be encapsulated, and he was able to come up with a solution. After sharing his proposal with the homeowner, they knew this was their best plan of action. James passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logistics team gave the final stamp of approval and scheduled the project for a few months later. When the project date arrived, our Foreman, Kingsley, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Kingsley and his crew started by clearing the crawl space. Once the crawl space was clear, the crew shifted to installing Drainage Matting. The CleanSpace Drainage Matting gives the water flooding into your crawl space a channel below your crawl space liner. One member of the crew begins by laying the drainage matting while another puts one over the top. This is a very efficient and swift installation process. After the CleanSpace Drainage Matting is installed, the crew can go in and install CleanSpace on the crawl space walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that prevents humidity and mold growth. The crew installs CleanSpace by mechanically attaching it to the basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners. Finally, the crew installed SmartJacks throughout the crawl space. SmartJacks is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. Additionally, SmartJacks are made with strong, corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel. After all the products were secure, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their crawl space was properly encapsulated.
