A homeowner in Champlin, MN, grew concerned about the driveway slabs beginning to overlap with one another. Knowing that they needed professional assistance, the homeowner began looking for the best concrete lifting and leveling company in their area. After looking through several companies in the area, the homeowner found our website. After seeing the five-star reviews, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate on our website. Once the appointment was made, one of our Design Specialists, Kyle, arrived at the home to begin his estimate. Following his detailed estimation, Kyle found that the sidewalk and driveway were showing signs of sinking. Kyle came up with a solution that would fix all of the homeowners' concerns. After hearing the solution, the homeowner decided to go with Kyle's plan. Once they agreed, the plans were then directed to the assigned crew, and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the home to begin construction. First, the crew focused on repairing the sinking concrete around the home. To raise the concrete, the crew utilized the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. install the PolyLevel, the crew strategically drills small 5/8" holes into the concrete slab. Next, the injection ports are installed in the small holes. Then, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slab. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the concrete slab was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to filling the joints and cracks with the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks that is specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. The NexusPro is inserted in the prepared joint and then is detailed with a thin layer of sand to give a finished appearance. The crew successfully installed all of the products and lifted the concrete to match the level of the garage. The homeowners were pleased with the excellent work accomplished by the crew.
