Jack and Marie R. of Cornell, WI had bowing walls near the staircase going into their basement. This made them worry about the structural support of their house. They got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck inspected Jack and Marie's foundation, proposed the solution of our Wall Anchor System, and answered all of their questions. After a thorough inspection and discussion, Jack and Marie decided to move forward with the project.

Our Foreman, Chri Newton, and his production crew installed four of our Wall Anchors. Our Wall Anchors are designed to stabilize basement walls, providing the best opportunity to straighten the walls without the cost of replacement. This system is the most versatile wall repair method because it stabilizes walls with a variety of problems, whether the walls are bowing, tipping, or pushing in at the bottom. Wall Anchors extend out to the stable soil beyond the home, anchoring themselves there and straightening the foundation wall. Jack and Marie were happy with the work that was completed and had a great experience with our team from start to finish!

A homeowner in Cornell, WI, noticed their sidewalk drastically worsening over time. Although they knew they needed a solution, they wanted to avoid replacing the entire sidewalk. While watching television one evening, the homeowner noticed one of our commercials and they decided to look into our company further. After seeing that we offer concrete lifting and leveling services, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the FREE estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Chuck, one of our Design Specialists. Soon after Chuck arrived, he greeted the homeowner and began investigating the status of the sidewalk. Chuck determined that the sidewalk was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the sidewalk from further damage, Chuck suggested that the entire sidewalk be lifted, leveled and joints sealed. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Chuck's suggestions. As soon as they were approved, the plans were directed to our Foreman, Jacob, and his crew to begin production. When the crew arrived, they began by inserting the PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk. Once the entire sidewalk was lifted and leveled, the crew filled the joints with the NexusPro Joint Sealant. Once the sidewalk was lifted and repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was pleased with the work completed by the crew. Job Stories From Cornell, WI
Sunken Sidewalk Raised in Cornell, WI

A homeowner in Cornell, WI, saw their jagged sidewalk was becoming a safety hazard. Anxious that someone would injure themselves, the homeowner knew they needed to take action. While watching the evening news, the homeowner watched one of our commercials and was immediately interested. The homeowner went to our website and saw we offered concrete repair services that would be perfect for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Soon after the estimate was set, we sent Chuck, one of our Design Specialists, to the home. Chuck greeted the homeowner and started the inspection. Following his detailed inspection, Chuck determined that the soil settlement underneath the sidewalk was the cause of the issues. Chuck recommended the sidewalk be lifted and leveled to stop the issue from worsening. The homeowner agreed and the production plans were sent to our Foreman, Jacob, and his crew. Jacob and the crew arrived at the home and prepared the sidewalk for the repair. To start, the crew installed the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. The crew begins by strategically drilling small 5/8" holes into the slab. Next, the crew installs injection ports in the small holes. Then, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill the voids and raise the slab. Finally, the crew sealed the holes and control joints. After the walkways were lifted, the crew shifted their focus to replacing the joints on the sidewalk. To replace these joints, the crew used the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based sealant. First, the crew drilled, smoothed, and prepared the cracks with a non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted into the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. Once they were complete, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home. The homeowner was thankful for the wonderful transformation. If you are suffering from a similar issue, sign up for your FREE estimate today!
