Kyle N. in Eau Galle, WI was experiencing water leaking into his basement. He had heard about American Waterworks through an advertisement on television, so he contacted us to receive a free estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, went onsite to evaluate the problem in Kyle's basement and to find what solution best fit his needs. Kyle's sump pump needed to be replaced and Chad also recommended installing WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. 

Kyle agreed that Chad's proposal was the right solution to waterproof his basement, so our appointment center locked down a date for our crew to install his full perimeter waterproofing system.  Now that the waterproofing system has been installed, water is properly draining to the sump pump and Kyle no longer has to worry about having a wet basement.

Rupert and Doris S. of Knapp, WI had water leaking from their pre-existing sump pump causing him to worry about water moisture problems. They did some research online and came across our American Waterworks website. They called our main office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to his home to inspect the sump pump and help figure out a solution that fit their needs. Rupert and Doris were comfortable with Chad's proposal of our SuperSump sump pump, so they went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production team started the project by cutting out the concrete around their pre-existing sump pump. Our crew replaced their sump pump with our SuperSump sump pump, which is made to keep basements clean and dry for long periods of time. To complete the project, Arturo and his team replaced the concrete and made sure Rupert and Doris were satisfied with the project!

Homeowners in Menomonie, WI, were experiencing a water leakage that constantly left their basement floor damp and wet, causing them to worry about potential basement flooding which can cause major damage to the appliances located in their basement. They got into contact with the Appointment center here at American Waterworks and claimed their FREE estimate which entitles them to a free home inspection by one of our Design Specialists. Once set and ready to go our Design Specialist then began to conduct a thorough home inspection to properly diagnose the issue and provide the homeowners with a solution that would not only solve their problem but prevent any other issues from arising. Once the task was completed, our Design Specialist proposed to the homeowners to install a SuperSump Pump System along with our WaterGurad system, which is designed to maintain basements dry for extended periods of time. The homeowners agrees and scheduled a date for installation.

Our Foreman and the Production crew then attended the property and began by jackhammering the concrete in the lowest part of the basement and around the edges of the room to install the SuperSump System along with the WaterGurard system which feeds the excess water to the SuperSump. The WaterGuard is designed to catch the water that runs down the wall and underneath the home to drain it away from the foundation preventing any damage to the foundation or the appliances located in the basement of the home. Once that is installed the SuperSump is then installed and connected to the WaterGuard System and the drainage pipe. To finish the project the team then backfills the holes that the SumpPump and the WaterGuard lay in with river rock and places a layer of concrete above to add a finishing look. The river rock prevents sediment from entering the pumps and the drainage system to provide long-lasting life to the pump.

Jeff from Audubon, MN, was noticing a musty smell that he suspected was originating from the crawl space beneath his home. He was worried that a musty smell could mean water or moisture was intruding into the space, creating an unhealthy environment. He wanted to do something about the issue, and after some research, he stumbled  upon our company. When he called in, we set him up with a FREE estimate, which entitles homeowners to a free, no-obligation inspection and diagnosis of the problem. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the home to complete his walkthrough. Once he had finished, he informed Jeff that his intuition was correct, and that his crawl space was taking on unnecessary water. Kole went on to recommend the use of our CleanSpace and drainage matting to address the issue. He explained that the two products work well together as the CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp that gets installed directly to the walls of the space. He went on to say that it collects the water entering the space, and directs it downward. Then, the drainage matting provides a dimpled channel for the water to flow through, ensuring it disposes in the right area. Jeff agreed with the proposed solution and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew ended up installing 4,363 sqft of CleanSpace and another 346 ft of the drainage matting. When the job was finished, Jeff was thrilled to know he had a reliable solution for his water intrusion issue.
