When they arrived, Patrick and the crew started by inserting the PolyLevel underneath the entire sidewalk and front of the driveway. After the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted their focus to fixing the cracks and bad joints in their concrete. Once the lifting and leveling job was complete, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. Clay had seen similar driveway issues before and knew right away what the solution should be. The result was a sleek, crack-free driveway that the homeowner was very pleased with.

Deciding not to wait any longer for more possible cracking or settling of the concrete, the homeowner wanted to find a reasonable solution. Looking for companies that specialized in concrete repair, he came across a number of names. He compared and contrasted the options and American Waterworks' FREE estimate service caught his eye. Our appointment center was contacted by him, and we set up a meeting time for him and one of our Service Technicians, Clay Bassingthwaite. Clay arrived at the site a few days later for an inspection of the driveway. He figured out the concrete sinking was a result of the soil settling underneath and recommended using PolyLevel and NexusPro to help fix the problem. The homeowner was pleased with the solution and Clay sent the plans to the production crew. Our Foreman, Ryan Trogstad, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the installation of the products. The process began with a crew member drilling a pencil-size hole throughout the driveway and inserts ports through them. This acts as a connecting point to the empty space and voids below the concrete surface. The polyurethane formula was injected through the ports to slowly raise the slabs back up and once finished, the holes were sealed. Next, the crew prepped the area and cleaned out the slab joints and cracks before the NexusPro sealant was applied and smoothed. The filled areas were detailed with a thin layer of native sand to make the driveway look smooth and finished. The work done by the crew was done efficiently and the homeowner was pleased at the result.

Sidewalk and Driveway Lifted in Fountain City, WI

A homeowner in Fountain City, WI, saw their sidewalk was becoming a safety hazard. Wanting to solve the issue, the homeowner began searching for a concrete repair company near them. Once the estimate details were set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Mike, one of our Design Specialists. Mike arrived at the home and began his analysis of the concrete. Once the analysis was complete, Mike determined the sidewalk and driveway were sinking into the ground. To stop the soil from sinking further, Mike recommended that the concrete be lifted and leveled using the PolyLevel. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner agreed with Mike's suggestion. Then, the plans were directed to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew. Patrick and his crew arrived at the home and started with the PolyLevel installation. The crew begins by strategically drilling small 5/8" holes into the slab. Next, the crew installs injection ports in the small holes. Then, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill the voids and raise the slab. Finally, the crew seals the holes and control joints. After the PolyLevel installation, the crew fills all the cracks using the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant. The crew installs the NexusPro by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the cracks. Then, the NexusPro Sealant is inserted into the prepared crack. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. Once the sidewalk repair was complete, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the wonderful work completed by the crew.
