Ian did a great job of giving us the estimate for our home. We decided to not do the work this summer but rather delay it until next summer. We used American Waterworks to install internal drain tile, remove existing rusted-out, steel support beams, and replace them with new, steel support beams. We worked with Cameron and his crew. They. communicated well, were on time, and got the job done in the timeline discussed. They were able to accommodate our needs by making some late changes to the plan, adding a new sump pump, and some extra supports recommended by them. It was a good experience and we feel better about having a safe and waterproofed basement.

We are very pleased with the whole process of repairing the cracked concrete. The area next to the garage floor was really crumbling. Tyler filled all of that in and it looks wonderful! All the cracks between the driveway and the sinking concrete that was lifted look awesome! Also, your pricing is fair and reasonable!

Driveway and Sidewalked Saved in Glydon, MN

A homeowner in Glydon, MN, was concerned with the status of their concrete. Knowing they did not want to replace the sidewalk or driveway slab, the homeowner looked into concrete repair options. One of the first companies to catch the homeowner's eye was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner saw the previous work we had done and knew we would be the company to complete the job. Since they were on the website already, they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. When the estimate was set, one of our Design Specialist, Richie, was sent to complete the estimate. After Richie completed his analysis of the concrete, he determined that the soil settlement was the root of the issues. To stop the sidewalk from sinking further, Richie suggested using the PolyLevel to lift and level the sidewalk. The homeowner agreed with this suggestion and the plans were sent to the production crew. Our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the traveled to the home to begin the PolyLevel and NexusPro installation. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the slab. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel injection was finished, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks and replacing the joints. The crew utilized NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. The crew begins by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. The crew cleaned up their tools and left the home. Foundation Walls Restored in Glyndon, MN

A homeowner in Glyndon, MN had cracked foundation walls in their crawl space, making them worry about the value of their home. They did some research on our website and filled out our online FREE Estimate form. Our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, went to their home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. The homeowner got all of their questions answered, so they moved forward with the project.

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the installation by digging three holes outside of the home and inserting a long, metal rod from the inside foundation wall to each hole outside of the home. Next, our crew screwed on and tightened a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the ends of each rod to straighten and stabilize the foundation wall back to its original position. Our wall anchors can be tightened over time by the homeowner to make sure and take note of any design progressions. To complete the project, our team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. The homeowner was thrilled with the work and had a great experience!
