What a great crew! They seem to be very thorough at their job. We will have to wait and see if all is good. Right now, I can say, even though the work was done inside the house, they were very courteous and friendly. They covered all the areas of the floor when they would be working inside and walking in. They cleaned everything up! They worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner. I will come back in a year to make sure all is well. I highly recommend this company.

Damp Basement Gets Fixed in Hamburg, MN

A homeowner from Hamburg, MN, got in touch with us when she noticed a corner of her basement was damp to the touch. After pulling up the carpet to investigate, the homeowner was shocked when she found water damage and mildew below the carpet and on the wall of the foundation. Not wanting the issue to worsen, she decided to find a MN basement waterproofing company. Once she found our website, she decided to sign up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Eric H, headed out to her home to see how we could help.

Once Eric finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to go over his findings and recommendations. Eric began by explaining that the homeowner was right to get in touch with us. He explained that water intrusion issues are often easier to catch in the early stages versus down the road. He went on to say that he wanted to use two of our products to address the issue. First, he wanted to use our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address the water entering the space through the walls. Our CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets applied directly to unfinished basement walls to collect water entering through cracks and holes in the wall, directing it downward to a drain of some sort. In this case, Eric wanted that drain to be our WaterGuard. This unique drain sits below the floor, but on top of the footing of the foundation, and out of the mud zone, an area where other drains typically clog. This drain works to catch the water entering through the wall and directs it to the appropriate disposal site such as a sump pump or external discharge line. The homeowner liked the sound of Eric's plan, and scheduled the work to be completed a few weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Kevin M, and his team ended up installing 59ft of our WaterGuard and CleanSpace throughout the basement. Now, our customer can enjoy her basement knowing her water intrusion issues have been solved!
