The crew was very efficient and did their job very well. No one worked on just one job but they traded off on a regular basis so they knew all the jobs. Except the bobcat driver, Hugo, was in charge of that. He said he had been with you for 15 years and you could tell he was in charge. He had a feather touch when he dug the clay away from the south and west walls; the neighbor across the street also commented on that. A feather touch was needed with what was happening in those areas too. They were friendly and worked very well together. Hugo told me that one of the crew was new and learning the ropes; he was very busy as were all of them. People knew of my basement walls concern & asked me how everything was coming along. I told them what was/had been done and made sure I told them American Waterworks was the business that did the repair. The walls look the way they should-nice and straight and even. Very grateful only the north wall needs to be adjusted by me every 6 weeks and I have a sticky note on the bathroom mirror to remind me that the next adjustment needs to be done December 1st and turning the bolt until it double clicks when I stop. Thank you to Hugo and his crew.

Steve and Jane R. of Hanley Falls, MN had water leaking into their basement making them worry about the life of their home. After talking to different contractors on the phone, Steve and Jane scheduled a FREE Estimate with American Waterworks. Our Design Specialist, Jeremy Girgen, went to their home to inspect the basement and solve the problem. After a thorough examination, they were confident with the design so they scheduled an installation date.

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete perimeter of the basement to form a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard System, designed to collect wall seepage and serve as an underground drain. Next, Juan and his team installed our SuperSump Sump Pump System, made to keep basements clean for long periods of time. To complete the project, Juan and his team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Steve and Jane were satisfied with the work and no longer have to worry when it rains!
