Cracked Foundation Wall in Hardwick, MN

Gordon H. in Hardwick, MN had two cracked walls in his basement. There was a stair-step like crack throughout the brick wall and it had started to bow inward from the external soil pushing against it. He started to research what to do if he had a cracked foundation wall and he was directed to American Waterworks.

After looking through our foundation repair solutions on our website, he gave us a call and set an appointment to receive a FREE onsite estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, Eric, to his home to evaluate the situation and provide him with a solution.

Gordon was pleased to learn that his walls could be repaired with the installation of 11 wall anchors, so he decided to move forward with the installation. The anchors were installed through his basement walls to the outside soil which are then tightened and secured. The installation took just over a day to complete, but Gordon's walls are now stabilized for a lifetime. He will never again have to worry about his foundation bowing on those two walls in his basement.
