After receiving the plans, Patrick and his crew made their way to the home to begin the PolyLevel installation. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the slab. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel injection was finished, the crew shifted their focus to filling the crack. The crew utilized NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. The crew begins by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro Sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the wonderful work completed by the crew. They began the project by drilling small pencil-sized holes throughout the front walkway and driveway apron. Then, they inserted ports inside the holes to reach the empty space below the slabs. Our PolyLevel foam was injected through the ports to fill in the empty space and lift the slabs back up. Next, they used NexusPro joint and crack repair sealant to fill in the holes again, the joints in between the slabs, and the crack that had formed in the walkway slab. To finish the project, the crew sprinkled a layer of native sand on top of the sealant for a smooth finish.
