A homeowner in Black River Falls, WI had water entering into his basement where the wire enters the fuse box.  American Waterworks was able to locate the leak and prevent any future water damage by installing a Super Sump.  In addition to the Super Sump, American Waterworks  suggested  our CleanSpace wall system to stop water vapor from permeating the walls and drain any wall leaks.  The white color really brightens up this basement.

A homeowner in Merrillan, WI was having trouble with some old windows in their basement.  Every time it rained, the windows would leak water into the basement. We were able to prevent any further water damage to their basement by installing several new windows.  In addition to the windows, American Waterworks also installed several Sunhouses that go over the window outside. It made their basement a brighter, more pleasant space in their home.

Crawl Space Renovation in Melrose, WI

Steve L. of Melrose, WI noticed significant heat loss coming from the dirt crawl space below his home. Steve was concerned about how much energy was being wasted so he decided to contact American Waterworks to see how we could help. We sent our Design Specialist, Dustin Loftus, to evaluate the crawl space in person. Dustin recommended installing our drainage matte system to ensure proper drainage along the crawl space floor. Following the installation of the drainage matte system, our team installed Terra Block, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and a spray foam insulation to keep any moisture outside of Steve's home and prevent any further energy loss. 

Steve was very pleased with the results of his crawl space encapsulation and has noticed drastic improvements since the installation.

Sunken Concrete in Hixton, WI

A homeowner in Hixton, WI was tired of dealing with the sunken walkway in front of their garage. The concrete had sunk over 3 inches and it created a large trip hazard. They saw a commercial for American Waterworks and decided it would be a good idea to have us take a look at it and provide them with a free estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Mac Cole, to their home to provide them with a solution. They were pleased to learn that PolyLevel could raise their concrete and that it is a more efficient and affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair.

Our PolyLevel expert drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where the PolyLevel foam would be injected. He then injected the foam until the cement was once again level with the garage. Lastly, he filled the cracks of the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant, and the job was the complete. The process only took a couple of hours, and now the homeowner does not have to worry about sinking concrete for years to come!

Basement in Taylor, WI is Rescued by American Waterworks Waterproofing Systems

Tom O. of Taylor, WI had water leaking in his basement causing his floor and walls to disintegrate from all the moisture. He gave American Waterworks a call to set up a Free Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Kevin McWithey, went out to his home to inspect the problem. Tom got all of his questions answered and was happy with the proposal, so he got an installation date on his calendar.

Our foreman, Edgar Miranda, and his production crew began the waterproofing installation by breaking out all of the concrete around the perimeter of Tom’s basement and installed 62 linear feet of Waterguard. Our WaterGuard drainage system acts as a below-floor drain and captures all the water that tries to seep through. After that, our crew installed our TripleSafe sump pump system. This sump pump system keeps all basements dry and provides triple protection. Our team then installed a discharge line from the pump to the outside of the home to provide a wet-free basement. Our crew then covered all the open gaps with rock and replaced all the concrete.

To finish the project, Edgar and his team installed CleanSpace around the walls to prevent any mold or moisture. These barriers also help with directing any water that enters the basement into the drainage system, and it also makes the room look bright and clean. Tom is very pleased with the work that was done and is glad that he chose American Waterworks to do service in his home!
