Radon Mitigation in Lester Prairie, MN

Taylor B. of Lester Prairie, MN was curious about the radon levels in their home and wanted to know about the air quality that they were inhaling into their system. They knew of an employee at American Waterworks, so they got some information about our services and got a FREE estimate scheduled for our Radon Testing. Our Foreman and his team began the project by installing PVC pipe from the sump pump, up through the wall, and through the siding of the home into it reached the outside. While scrolling through their Facebook page, the homeowner came across some of our content. The homeowner decided to look further into our company and was interested in our services. Impressed enough by our work, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Puddles and Crumbles in Brownton, MN

A homeowner in Brownton, MN, knew their basement was in desperate need of assistance. Wanting the issues resolved as soon as possible, the homeowners began searching for the best and quickest responding company near them. The homeowner searched online for the best waterproofing company near them. One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. To make sure this was the best company for them, the homeowner decided to research further into the services that we offer. The homeowner was impressed with our extensive list of services, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Ryan, one of our Design Specialists. Once Ryan arrived, he began his detailed analysis of the basement. Ryan determined there were several issues with the basement, including waterproofing and foundation stabilization issues. Ryan came up with a proposed solution that would take care of all the homeowner's issues. After presenting the proposal, the homeowner decided that this was their best option. The plans were directed to our Foreman, Jeromy, and his crew. After Jeromy and his crew arrived, they began the project by installing the WaterGuard, our patented below-floor drain. The crew installs the WaterGuard by digging channels around the perimeter of the basement floor. Once the channels are dug, the crew can go ahead and place the drainage stone in the channels. The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. Next, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. Following the SuperSump+ installation, the crew moved on to attaching CleanSpace to the walls. The CleanSpace is mechanically attached to your basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners, so it will not fall off the wall. On the outside of the home, the crew attached the IceGuard to the discharge line. The IceGuard is an anti-freeze fitting that ejects water away from the foundation. Finally, the crew focused on the foundation's stabilization. First, they took out the old wooden posts and replaced them with SmartJacks, posts that can correct issues like sloping, springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. The crew successfully stabilized and waterproofed the home, so they cleaned their materials and left. The homeowner was pleased with the wonderful work completed by the crew.
