The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that prevents humidity and mold growth. The crew installs CleanSpace by mechanically attaching it to the basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to securing CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Finally, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The crew utilized NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions.
