When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Charlie and his crew started by securing PolyLevel below the sinking slabs. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the slab. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel injection was finished, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks and replacing the joints. The crew utilized NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. The crew begins by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. Once the installation date was selected, the proposal was passed to our Logisitics team to give the final stamp of approval. Once approved, the project was assigned to our Foreman, Roel, and his crew. A few weeks later, Roel and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Roel and his crew installed WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. The WaterGuard is a below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. The crew installs the WaterGuard by digging channels around the perimeter of the basement floor. Once the channels are dug, the crew can go ahead and place the drainage stone in the channels. The WaterGuard is then placed on top of the stone and covered with cement. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew could shift their focus to removing the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe. The crew installed a feedline across the floor to connect the TripleSafe to the new WaterGuard. Finally, Roel and his crew attached Foamax to the unfinished basement walls. Foamax is an advanced foam insulation panel that reduces condensation for exceptional moisture protection. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
