Nick suggested a solution that would solve all the structural and floor issues. The homeowners considered their options and decided to go with the suggested plan. Once the plans were approved, they were sent to the assigned crew, and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the home to begin production. First, the crew began production by installing three GeoLocks, an innovative wall anchor system, on the northwest wall. The GeoLock anchors permanently stabilize your foundation wall by anchoring to your interior walls to the hard-pack untouched soil beyond your foundation. First, the crew excavates a small section of the lawn to place the first GeoLock anchor. Then, the crew directs a small steel pole through the soil to connect to the interior wall anchor. Once the anchors are connected, the crew can put the removed lawn back into place. After the GeoLock installation, the crew shifts their focus to the concrete issues. The crew focused on lifting and leveling the concrete with the PolyLeve, a polyurethane foam injection serum. To install the PolyLevel, the crew strategically drills small holes throughout the concrete. Next, injection ports are installed in those small holes. Then, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill the voids and raise the slab. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel install was completed, the crew moved on to filling the various cracks and joints in the concrete. To fill those joints and cracks, the crew used the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and can stand up to harsh weather conditions. The crew installs the NexusPro Sealant by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the crack with a non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the crack or control joint.
