Water Damage Resolved in Renville, MN

A homeowner in Renville, MN, was looking for a solution to the water leakage issues in their basement. Not sure who they should contact, the homeowner looked for advice from a local Facebook group. They received an overwhelming response recommending, American Waterworks. After hearing all the positive reviews, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was set, we sent Design Specialist, Dylan, to evaluate the possible damages. Following his evaluation, Dylan recommended the homeowners waterproof the basement with the WaterGuard system. Wanting to solve the issue, the homeowners agreed. After the plans were approved, the crew was sent out to start the waterproofing. To start, the crew installed the WaterGuard system around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard system is our patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. The WaterGuard is mainly used as a drain system due to its resistance to water clogs, easy access ports, and ability to collect leaking water. The crew dug channels around the perimeter of the basement and then placed the WaterGuard in those channels. Once in place, the WaterGuard is covered with rocks and cement. Next, the crew installed the SuperSump + Pump System. This sump pump is designed to keep basements dry and healthy for long periods, even during heavy water intrusion. A feedline was installed across the foundation floor. Additionally, the crew installed the IceGuard, an anti-freeze fitting that is installed outside the home and ejects water away from the foundation. Cracked Foundation in Renville, MN Restored in Preparation to Sell

A home in Renville, MN that was owned by a bank had major structural issues due to a cracked foundation wall. The bank wanted to put the home on the market, but they knew they would need to have it repaired before doing so. After researching foundation repair contractors, they decided that American Waterworks was the best fit for the project. We sent a Design Specialist to the home to meet with a representative from the bank. Our Specialist inspected the home and determined that we could permanently repair the foundation by installing wall anchors. The bank agreed with the proposal, so the project was scheduled.

Our production crew installed the anchors by drilling small holes through the damaged foundation wall in the basement. Then, they inserted long metal rods that went into the soil surrounding the home. They had dug small holes in the yard that lined up with the rods so that they could secure them with anchor plates. After the rods were secured from both ends, the crew tightened them as far as they could go. The wall became stable and started to straighten immediately after the installation. The bank was pleased with how smooth the process went, and the home was ready to sell.
