Concrete Lifting Contractor in Zimmerman, MN

After a thorough inspection, our design specialist proposed 68 pounds of our PolyLevel to lift and stabilize the concrete surface. The female resident was confident in our PolyLevel and its features, so she went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman and his crew installed our PolyLevel by drilling small holes throughout the concrete. Concrete Stairs Lift in Big Lake, MN

Jonathan from Big Lake, MN, gave us a call when he noticed that the stairs leading up to his garage were beginning to crack and sink, creating sizable tripping hazards and gaps. Jonathan was afraid that if he left the issue untouched that the cracks would only worsen and create a bigger, and more expensive, problem to fix later down the road. When Jonathan called us, we set him up with our FREE estimate, and a Design Specialist from our Concrete and Radon division was sent out to the property to do a thorough inspection of the issue. When he concluded, he informed Jonathan that the issue he was experiencing was due to the soil beneath the slabs settling. He noted that the soil could be settling for a variety of reasons, but recommended that Jonathan use our PolyLevel injection to address the issue and restore the concrete slabs to their former glory. Our PolyLevel solution is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and is used to raise and stabilize the concrete surface. Our Design Specialist also recommended following our PolyLevel with our NexusPro solution, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks. Jonathan agreed and construction began soon after.

Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slabs. Next, they filled the holes with our PolyLevel solution and kept a close eye to make sure that the concrete was raised back to its former state. To complete the project, they sealed the points of entry and the joints next to the foundation with our NexusPro solution to keep the PolyLevel safe from the elements to ensure that the concrete would stay elevated for a long time to come. In the end, Jonathan was happy with his newly raised concrete and was thankful he no longer had to worry about trip hazards.

Radon Mitigation System Installation in Elk River, MN

Paul H. from Elk River, MN, got into contact with us when he suspected that his basement was infested with hazardous Radon gas. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is emitted from the earth's soil that can be extremely harmful to both humans and pets if inhaled at high levels for a long period of time. Radon gas exposure is one of the top leading components that cause lung cancer. Radon is measured in picocuries per liter (pCi/L). National Radon Defense suggests that the Radon exposure should be below 4 pCi/L. Paul contacted our appointment center here at American Waterworks and claimed his FREE estimate. Once an appointment was made and our Design Specialist attended Paul's property to complete a Radon test. When the results came back, our Design Specialist recommended Paul invest in our Radon Mitigation System since the pCi/L in the basement of his home was above the minimum amount of exposure that was deemed to be safe for public health. The Radon Mitigation System would help lift the gas from the basement of the home and expel it out through the vents on top of the home. Our Foreman, Dakota, installed the system with ease. Now, Paul and his family can breathe easier knowing that they are not in any danger of Radon gas.

Foundation Gets a Lift in Becker, MN

Paul from Becker, MN, got in contact with us when he began to notice internal symptoms of foundation issues such as cracks in interior walls and hard to open doors and windows. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved, he would run the risk of compromising the structural integrity of the home. After doing research about companies in the area who offer foundation repair, he came across our website. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate, which entitles homeowners to a free, no-obligation estimate into the issue. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan, headed out to the property to assess the situation. Once he completed, he found settling along the North and East walls. He recommended the use of our helical piers to fix the situation. He explained to Paul that the helical piers would be the ideal choice to lift the section of his home. He went on to say that the helical pier works by hydraulically "screwing" the helix shaped pier deep into the earth, then by shifting the weight of the home onto the piers, effectively lifting the home back towards its original position.

Paul agreed with the proposal, and work began weeks later. Our Foreman, Juan, and his team began by excavating the soil around the problem walls to get access to the foundation of the home. Next, the hydraulically drove the piers deep into the soil. Once they had placed all of the piers, they backfilled the soil they had excavated to covered the piers. Once the job was done, Paul was so happy to know he no longer had to worry about his failing foundation!

Lifted Driveway in Becker, MN

A homeowner in Becker, MN, noticed their driveway was beginning to crack and was quite uneven. Knowing they could not solve the issue on their own, the homeowner reached out to our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists to complete a full analysis of the driveway. The Design Specialist noticed that the driveway was sinking due to soil settlement. The Design Specialist warned the homeowner that the problem would only worsen, so they provided them with a recommended solution. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner decided to follow through with the Design specialist's plan. After receiving the go-ahead, the plans were sent to the assigned crew and production commenced. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the home and began by installing the PolyLevel underneath the entire driveway. The PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the driveway. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel injection was finished, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks and replacing the all joints. The crew utilized NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. First, the crew removed all the old joints throughout the driveway. Then, the crew begins by drilling, smoothing, and preparing the non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. Once the NexusPro installation was complete, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home. The homeowners were pleased with the job well done by the crew. Sidewalk Repaired with PolyLevel in Big Lake, MN

A homeowner in Big Lake, MN, was walking into their home one evening when they stumbled near their garage. Having a hunch this was a larger issue, the homeowner began looking for a solution. The homeowner knew they had many options, but they wanted to find the one best fit for their situation. While looking through NextDoor, the homeowner noticed American Waterworks' impressive reviews and ratings. The homeowner was curious about our company and decided to investigate our website. While on our website, the homeowner saw our extensive list of services and decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Soon after the estimate was made, we sent one of our Design Specialists to investigate. The Design Specialist arrived at the home and introduced themselves to the homeowners, then they began the concrete evaluation. Once he was complete, the Design Specialist determined the unevenness was caused by soil settlement. To avoid total replacement, the Design Specialist suggested that the homeowner lift and level the sidewalk with our PolyLevel. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with the Design Specialist's suggestions and production began. Our Formen, Dylon and his crew traveled to the home to begin the PolyLevel and NexusPro installation. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that restores the appearance and safety of the concrete. The crew started by strategically drilling small holes throughout the slab. Then, the crew inserts ports into those small holes. Next, the polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slabs. Finally, the holes and control joints are sealed. Once the PolyLevel injection was finished, the crew shifted their focus to filling the cracks and replacing the joints. The crew utilized NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. After the NexusPro was installed, the crew applied a layer of the SealantPro on the sidewalk. Once everything was complete, the crew cleaned up their site and left the home.
