Radon Mitigation in Dodge, WI

Radon Mitigation in Dodge, WI Radon Mitigation in Dodge, WI

Jen S. in Dodge, WI was selling her home and needed a radon mitigation system installed. Her realtor recommended American Waterworks, and we sent our Design Specialist, Kevin Kreofsky, to design a system that was unique to her home.

Our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, started the installation process by drilling a hole in the slab foundation of the home and connected a PVC pipe. The radon gas is drawn upward, and the pipe guides it to the fan. The fan draws and vents radon safely above and away from the home.

Wet Basement Restoration in Galesville, WI

Todd J. from Galesville, WI was experiencing water seeping into his basement. The water had started to cause damage to his basement, so he quickly got in touch with American Waterworks to find a solution to his problem. Design Specialist, Mac Cole, went to Todd's house to examine the problem and determine the best possible solution. Mac then developed a thorough plan to fully waterproof Todd's basement.

The American Waterworks team installed WaterGuard around his entire basement perimeter so that the water seeping in could properly drain to the TripleSafe Sump Pump and then discharged outside of his home. Todd chose the TripleSafe Sump Pump so that he could have three layers of protection for his basement and for his peace of mind. Todd can now enjoy a dry and livable basement without having to worry about potential water damage.

Full Basement Waterproofing in Arcadia, WI

Allen S. in Arcadia, WI had water coming up through the concrete floor in his basement. He was dealing with standing water and high levels of humidity. He was tired of trying to temporarily patch this problem by himself and decided it was time to have a professional inspect the situation. He saw a commercial for American Waterworks and thought we looked like a good fit for him. Shortly after contacting us, we sent a Design Specialist to his home to provide him with a solution and a FREE onsite estimate.

Our Design Specialist built a personalized plan with Allen that would permanently waterproof his basement. Allen was pleased with how thorough and detailed the proposal was and it had been a particularly rainy spring, so Allen was ready to move forward with the installation as soon as possible.

Our crew installed a full perimeter of WaterGuard, lateral feed lines through the middle of the basement to guide water to the WaterGuard, and a TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard drainage system directs any water seeping in to the sump pump. Once the water reaches the sump pump, it is then pumped through the discharge line and expelled to the outside of the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Allen has peace of mind that he chose to protect his basement for the long-term.

Sunken Concrete Walkway and Porch in Trempealeau, WI

Lesley E. in Trempealeau, WI had 3 concrete slabs on her sidewalk up to the house that had become uneven and had started to chip. Also, the step up to her front porch had started cracking and crumbling on the bottom because the connecting concrete slab was sinking. She wanted to find a non-invasive and affordable way to repair the concrete, so she started researching contractors in her area. She came across American Waterworks and was interested in learning more about our PolyLevel foam concrete repair solution. She got in touch with us, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Kevin McWithey, to her home to give her a free onsite estimate.

She was pleased to learn that PolyLevel is a faster and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair, while still being durable, so she set a date for the installation. Our PolyLevel expert drilled penny-size holes into the concrete slabs where he needed to inject the foam. He then injected the foam until the concrete was raised and leveled back to its original position. Lastly, he filled the cracks with our Nexus Pro sealant. The entire process took about two hours, and now Lesley can enjoy a level front porch and walkway for years to come.

Basement Waterproofing System Installation in Osseo, MN

Wayne R. in Osseo, WI had water entering his basement through the cracks in the walls and the floor. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to his home to inspect the situation and design a solution. Wayne was pleased with the thorough proposal that Shane put together, so he schedule a date to have us waterproof his basement.

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his crew installed a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system on the basement floor, a SuperSump sump pump, a lateral line and a discharge line. The water now properly drains through the WaterGuard and the lateral line if there is a large amount of water, to the sump pump. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line to the outside of the home. The installation took two days to complete, but our waterproofing system is guaranteed for a lifetime, so Wayne has peace of mind that he chose the best, long-term solution for his home.

Cracked and Bowing Walls in Osseo, WI

Ken H. in Osseo, WI had two walls in his basement that were cracked and bowing inward. He was concerned that the bowing walls were putting a lot of pressure on his foundation, and he wanted to have it taken care of before it got worse. He contacted the foundation repair experts at American Waterworks, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Chad Johnson, to his home to give him a free estimate and provide him with a solution. Chad recommended that we install wall anchors to permanently stabilize his walls and Ken agreed, so they scheduled the installation.

Our production team installed 9 walls anchors along the two bowing walls. The anchors provide stability to the wall because they are drilled deep into the soil surrounding the home. The anchors also start to straighten the wall and the anchors can continue to be tightened over time, if need be. Our wall anchors are backed by a lifetime warranty, so Ken is glad he chose a permanent solution to protect the foundation of his home.

Radon Mitigation System Installed in Blair, WI

Karen S. in Blair, WI had contacted us to encapsulate her crawl space and while we were at her home, she decided she wanted to have us test her home for radon. The results showed that Karen's home had high levels of radon, so we suggested that we install a radon mitigation system in her home. After learning that radon is the #2 cause of lung cancer in the United States, she wanted to have the system installed as soon as possible.

Our radon mitigation specialists drilled a small hole through the concrete floor in her basement and inserted a PVC pipe to create a suction point for the radon gas. Then, they ran the PVC pipe up through her home against the wall and had the pipe exit through the roof. They installed a fan towards the top of the PVC pipe to ensure the radon gas was pushed away from the home. Karen is glad she chose to have the system installed and his happy that her health is no longer being compromised because of radon.

After having a Design Specialist out to his home for a free estimate, he decided that our PolyLevel concrete repair was the best solution for him, so he scheduled the installation.

Our concrete repair experts drilled small holes into the concrete slabs of his driveway and injected the polymer foam, which expands and then raises the concrete. Once it was raised to be even with the garage floor, they filled back the holes they drilled with concrete. Then, they sealed the cracks in his concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. Nexus Pro protects the concrete and gives it a nice, finished look. Ron was pleased with the results and he is glad he chose to repair his concrete with American Waterworks!
