Wet Basement and Damaged Foundation Restored in Walnut Grove, MN

Mark W. in Walnut Grove, MN had been dealing with a wet basement and bowing basement walls for quite some time and he was starting to get concerned about the air quality in the home and the stress that was being put on his foundation walls. He saw an advertisement for American Waterworks in his local newspaper and was pleased to see that we are experts in waterproofing as well as foundation repair. He contacted us for a FREE estimate and we were happy to send one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, to his home to inspect the situation. Eric worked with Mark to develop a plan that would be the most beneficial for him. Mark like the thorough proposal that Eric put together, so he scheduled a date for the installation.

Our Foremen, Jose Castillo and Rene Hernandez, and their teams started the installation process by removing the perimeter of the concrete floor in the basement for our drainage system and they also began installing the wall anchors. They laid the WaterGuard drainage system which drains to the TripleSafe sump pump system. Once the anchors were completely installed, they covered the walls with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect from moisture and mold, and they replaced the concrete where the WaterGuard was laid. They also installed an EverLast basement window to keep water out and 4 Powerbraces to straighten and stabilize the wall. The process took a couple of days to complete, but both our foundation repair and waterproofing systems are guaranteed for a lifetime, so Mark can rest easy knowing he invested in the long-term protection of his home.
