A West Salem, WI homeowner contacted us when he took a nasty tumble over a piece of uneven concrete leading up to an outer door. He didn't want anyone else to get hurt, so he decided to call us and set up his FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ross, headed out to the home.

Once Ross completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner and informed him that we could fix the sinking walkway with the help of our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. The homeowner liked the sound of the plan and decided to schedule the project for a few weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Sam, and his team completed the lift with no complications. Now, our customer can walk on their walkways with confidence, knowing trip hazards have been dealt with.

Radon Gas Levels Mitigated in West Salem, WI Radon Gas Levels Mitigated in West Salem, WI

A West Salem, WI, homeowner was surfing the web one day when she stumbled upon an article about radon gas. She read about the hazards that radon gas poses to a household and that the Midwest has some of the highest radon levels in the US due to the geological makeup of the area. The homeowner decided to locate a radon specialist in Wisconsin. Through an internet search, she found our website. She was impressed with our radon gas mitigation system images and decided to sign up for our FREE estimate. While she waited for her appointment, she headed to her local home improvement store to purchase an at-home radon monitoring test.

Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ross J, was scheduled to head out to the home. When he arrived, he learned that the homeowner had conducted a home test which had indicated higher-than-average radon levels. So, Ross began his appointment looking for the appropriate place to out a mitigation system. When he finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner. Ross explained that a typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. When installed by an experienced radon mitigation specialist, a radon abatement system will lower the concentration of radon gas in your interior air to the minimal levels recommended by the EPA and other health and safety agencies. The homeowner was impressed with Ross's solution and signed on the spot.

The day of the installation eventually rolled around. Our Foreman, Geno, and his team wasted no time getting to work installing the system. After a long day for our crew, our customer was delighted to know that she could put her faith in the air her and her family were breathing in each day!

Job Stories From West Salem, WI
Cracked Driveway Repaired in West Salem, WI

After continuously putting off his concrete concerns, the homeowner in West Salem, WI, realized that his walkway and driveway had become a trip hazard. Concerned for the safety of his family, he began looking into concrete lifting services in the area and found us. After browsing our website and becoming impressed by our 5-star reviews, the homeowner contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate with one of our experts.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Will R., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Will took note of the cracks that had formed along the driveway, as well as the trip hazard that had formed along the walkway. Will explained to the homeowner that soil compaction is one of the most common causes of sinking slabs and could be the reason why his walkway and driveway have become uneven. As cars drive and park over the driveway, the soil's load-bearing capacity is exceeded, causing the soil to compact and settle. This process creates voids in the soil, eventually leading to slabs sinking. To fix this issue effectively, Will recommended PolyLevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel is our elite solution to sunken slabs as its foam-expanding properties fill in the voids in the soil, accurately lifting concrete slabs. NexusPro is our silicone-based sealant that is specifically engineered to repair cracks that have formed and to seal joints. Unlike traditional sealants, NexusPro will not crack over time. After looking over Will's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small 3/8 inch holes into the slabs and inserting the injection ports. PolyLevel is then injected beneath the slab, expanding and filling in the voids in the soil and causing the concrete slab to lift. Once it has been lifted to the desired height, the crew seals the holes so that the concrete work is undetectable. Lastly, the crew used NexusPro to repair the cracks along the driveway and seal the joints in the walkway. After the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Now, our customer can have peace of mind with his smooth and crack-free concrete! Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE to schedule your FREE estimate today!

High Radon Levels Gets Mitigated in West Salem, WI

A homeowner in West Salem, WI, recently learned about radon. The homeowner learned that radon is a tasteless, odorless gas that creates a high toxic level in the air we breathe. It is released as the soil decays, which makes it unavoidable in households. After learning this information, the homeowner quickly took action by purchasing a radon testing kit. After a couple of days, the test results were above 4 pCi/L, and the homeowner contacted us to schedule her FREE estimate.

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Ross J., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, Ross took measurements and provided a design for where our radon mitigation system would be installed. Ross explained to the homeowner that our system would be installed in the footing of the home so that it can suction out the radon-rich air and spew it outdoors. The homeowner agreed to Ross's design and scheduled the installation date.

In about a month, one of our crews arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began the installation by installing the PVC pipe into the footing. The pipe then connects to the radon mitigation system that is installed outside of the home. After the crew ensured everything was installed properly, they then cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Now, our customer can breathe in fresh, clean air! When was the last time you tested the radon levels of your home? Click FREE to schedule your FREE estimate today!
