Concrete Monument Restored in Winger, MN

In Winger, MN an employee that worked in the Winger Council Chambers building was concerned about the monuments across the street in the park because she noticed just how damaged the concrete surrounding the monument had gotten over the years. Some of the concrete slabs had sunk and there were also many cracks scattered throughout the surface. She knew it needed some repairs for the area to be restored, so she had the idea approved and began looking for a service in the Minnesota area. The American Waterworks company name stood out to her because of our FREE no-obligation estimates. She signed up for one and later met with our Design Specialist, James Nelson, to discuss the concrete around the monument. James inspected the area and determined that two of our quality products were the perfect solution for the space to be restored. The employee trusted James's knowledge and was eager to move forward with the project, so she agreed to the installations. Our Foreman, Jordan Simonson, and his crew went to the site to carry out the installations and began the process by drilling small pencil-sized holes throughout the concrete. Next, they inserted ports in the holes to reach the empty space below and injected PolyLevel foam through the ports to fill in the space until each slab was lifted back up. The crew then filled the holes with NexusPro sealant as well as the many cracks to even out the surface. Finally, to complete the project some native sand was spread on top of the sealant for a pleasing look to the space. The employee was very happy with the whole process and glad to have positive results with the concrete around the monument.

Deteriorating Wall in Winger, MN

A homeowner in Winger, MN, found that their north foundation wall was crumbling. Wanting to save the wall, the homeowner sought to find the best company in foundation repair. After comparing several companies, the homeowners determined that American Waterworks was the best fit. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate details were finalized, we sent our Design Specialist, Kole, out to the property to complete a comprehensive inspection. After his inspection, Kole warned the homeowners that their wall was rapidly deteriorating and showed signs of wall failure. We can determine wall failure from exterior symptoms like tilting chimneys, street creeps, and in the homeowner's case exterior cracks. Kole provided a solution for the homeowners that is cost-effective and would properly restore the foundation wall with our Wall Restoration System. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowners agreed and preparation began. Our Foreman, Francisco, and his crew arrived at the property and started by removing all the deteriorated sections from the wall. Once the deteriorated sections were removed, the crew could install the wire mesh along the weakened walls. After the wire mesh was installed, the crew then placed the new concrete over the newly recovered foundation walls to build them up. In addition to the north wall, the wall restoration occurred on the west corner of the home and near the window along the south wall. Finally, the crew smoothed all the repaired walls to make them look as good as new. The crew successfully restored the walls and cleaned their job site. The homeowners were relieved that their basement walls were properly restored and happy with the excellent job completed by the crew.
