American Waterworks Case Studies: Damaged Foundation Restored with Anchors and PowerBraces in Arkansaw, WI

Challenge

Sam M. in Arkansaw, WI had multiple cracked and bowing walls in his basement. He was concerned about the pressure that the damaged walls were putting on his foundation, so he started to research foundation repair. He found American Waterworks and contacted us to receive a FREE estimate. He was pleased with our products and design, so he chose to move forward with the repair.

Solution

We were able to successfully stabilize Sam's walls by installing wall anchors and PowerBraces. We installed the anchors on the walls where we were able to dig out in the yard. We used PowerBraces on the other wall, so we would not disturb the neighbor’s yard. Both the anchors and braces need to be tightened over time, which will gradually straighten the walls and improve the stability. Sam's peace of mind has been restored now that his foundation has been permanently repaired.
