American Waterworks Case Studies: Basement Restoration in Mason City, IA

Challenge

Deb H. in Mason City, IA was growing more frustrated dealing with a wet basement after every heavy rainfall, and she was concerned about the water damage she was noticing. She contacted American Waterworks, and we sent our Design Specialist to evaluate the situation. He proposed a solution that fit the needs of her home. 

Solution

Our production crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement and our SuperSump sump pump. They finished the project with installing our Basement To Beautiful Insulated Wall Panels. Our Basement To Beautiful Panels provide a waterproof vapor barrier and 24% more energy savings than conventional foam products. Deb was very pleased with the results and glad she invested in a permanent solution.
