American Waterworks Case Studies: Waterproofing in Rochester, MN

Challenge

Jessie C. in Rochester, MN contacted American Waterworks after she noticed water leaking into the basement of an apartment which she manages. She knew she needed a permanent solution, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton, to meet with her and design a waterproofing system.

Solution

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the room and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our SuperSump sump pump with a battery back up in the corner and our Basement To Beautiful Insulated Panels on the wall to provide extra warmth and energy savings. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard, to the sump pump, and from there the water is expelled from the building through the discharge line. Jessie is glad she chose to protect her investment!
