Maple Grove, MN, Leaky Basement Waterproofed

Challenge

A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN, knew it was time to update their basement waterproofing products. Unsure of who to work with, the homeowner decided to look into a "basement wet free estimate". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner looked into our services. The homeowner was impressed with our previous projects, so they signed up for their FREE estimate.

Solution

Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Daniel. The following week, Daniel promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Daniel confirmed that several areas were suffering from water intrusion. To prevent this issue from continuing, Daniel recommended installing WaterGuard, an interior French drain system, and CleanSpace, a plastic vapor barrier. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the recommended plan of action. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Kevin, and his crew began the installation. First, Kevin and his crew began by installing WaterGuard along the south wall. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. After the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
