Challenge
A homeowner in Kendall, WI, noticed that her walkway and become a trip hazard. Knowing that this posed a safety risk for her family, she decided to look into concrete lifting in the area and found us. Solution
In about a week, our Design Specialist, Will R., arrived at the home for the inspection to answer questions and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, Will noticed soil washout beneath the concrete slabs. Will explained to the homeowner that soil washout is the process where water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. Luckily, we have just the right solution, PolyLevel, our waterproof foam expanding formula that accurately lifts sunken slabs without the mess of mudjacking or the headache of slab replacement. Alongside PolyLevel, Will also recommended NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant that repairs cracks and seals joints. After reviewing Will's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and scheduled the installation date.
In about two months, our Foreman, Jordan S., and his crew arrived at the home to carry out the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs and injecting PolyLevel. Once the slabs have been raised to the correct height, the crew seals the holes. Lastly, they used NexusPro to repair the cracks and seal the joints along the walkway! After they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
Now, our customer can have peace of mind that her walkway is no longer a trip hazard! Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE to schedule your FREE estimate today!
