Wet Basement Gets Waterproofed in La Crosse, WI

A homeowner in La Crosse, WI, noticed that his basement had been facing water damage and was concerned for his home. He decided to look into basement waterproofing contractors in the area and found us. Solution

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Chuck H., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection of the basement, answer any questions, and provide the best solution to the homeowner. During the inspection, Chuck noticed multiple signs of water damage, such as efflorescence, a white residue, mold growth, and high humidity levels. He also noticed water stains along the walls that are coming from cracks that have formed. After inspecting the home, Chuck created a proposal for the homeowner with a list of recommendations. He recommended installing WaterGuard, our below-the-floor perimeter drain system that collects water and safely sends it to the sump pump, CleanSpace, our vapor wall barrier that prevents water vapor from permeating the walls and directs leaks to the drain system, SuperSump+, our elite sump pump system capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the pipes freeze. Because Chuck noticed some bowing and cracks on the walls, he also recommended PowerBrace, our steel I-beams, to permanently stabilize the walls. After looking over Chuck's recommendations, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.

In a couple of months, our Foreman, Arturo M., and his crew arrived for the installation. The crew installed 52ft of WaterGuard and CleanSpace, 1 SuperSump+, 2 IceGuards, and 9 PowerBrace. After the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
