Challenge
A homeowner in Lake Crystal, MN, discovered damp spots throughout their basement. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert who could provide them with a proper solution. After comparing several companies, the homeowner decided to go with the "local waterproofing experts", American Waterworks. Once they signed up for their FREE estimate, we sent Eric, one of our Design Specialists, to the home to take a closer look.
Solution
Eric promptly arrived at the home and began the detailed walk-through of the basement. During the inspection, Eric noted that several areas were suffering from water intrusion. To prevent the water intrusion from continuing, Eric recommended installing several waterproofing products in the struggling areas. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Eric to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Matt, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. Once they were settled, Matt and his crew started by securing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. After the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the TripleSafe. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was given peace of mind knowing their basement was properly waterproofed.
