Sunken Driveway Lifted in New Hampton, IA
Challenge
When driving on their driveway, a homeowner in New Hampton, IA, noticed it was quite uneven. Worried this could cause damage to their vehicle, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a proper solution. Uncertain who to work with, the homeowner looked into "concrete lifting iowa", and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our five-star reviews, the homeowner knew that we were the ideal company for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate.
Solution
Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Nathan. A few days later, Nathan traveled to the home to begin the estimate. Nate took a closer look at the damaged concrete and noted that the slabs were sinking and separating due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Nathan noted that lifting the sidewalk with PolyLevel would stop this issue from progressing. After sharing his findings with the homeowners, they agreed and worked with Nathan to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Sam, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Sam and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel, a polyurthane foam injection solution, below the sinking slabs. After the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted to cleaning up their matierals and leaving the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew.
