Overview

Every year, Nextdoor runs a campaign called Neighborhood Favorites to feature cherished local businesses. Neighborhood Favorites range across 25 different categories such as contractors, restaurants, gyms, etc. Since neighbors and community members rely on companies each day, Nextdoor thinks it’s crucial to celebrate those beloved businesses!

What is it?

During this annual campaign, Nextdoor gives neighbors the opportunity to vote for their favorite local business. These votes are counted based on the number of likes and recommendations a local business has gotten within the past year. These Favorites are then marked with a trophy symbol next to their name on their business page and are showcased year-round on Neighborhood Favorite listings in neighborhoods that they have won in. This campaign is a unique way to boost your visibility and collect trusted recommendations from neighbors who know you best. It also allows local companies to be trusted members of the neighborhood and community, and build committed and long-term relationships.  Since only 1% of all companies on Nextdoor are given this award each year, winning this is something to be proud of!
