Schedule Annual Maintenance
Left untreated, a wet crawl space can easily be damaged by mold, termites, and wood rot. Our waterproofing experts at American Waterworks are here to help!
Excess moisture in a vented, dirt-floored crawl space can damage insulation while also causing mold problems. Our crew was able to winterize and seal this crawl space to avoid cold floors and high heating costs.
The raised dimples on our Drainage Matting gives the water flooding into your crawl space a channel underneath your crawl space liner and guiding the water to the sump pump.
It's our job to make sure that your musty crawlspace is transformed into a cleaner, drier, healthier, and more energy-efficient space.
Connie H. in Tomah, WI had standing water in an area of her crawl space and was interested in our waterproofing and encapsulation services. She contacted American Waterworks, and we sent our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, to meet with Connie, inspect the situation, and propose a permanent solution.
Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production crew were able to successfully waterproof Connie’s crawl space by first installing our SmartPipe and Drain Tile drainage system and our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. Next, they installed Foamax insulation panels along the walls and laid the drainage matting on the floor. Then, they installed spray foam insulation in the rim joists and finished the encapsulation with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep moisture, pests, and potential mold growth out. Lastly, they installed a SaniDry dehumidifier system to take care of any humidity. Connie was pleased with her crawl space transformation, and glad she made the investment to protect her home!
