Schedule Annual Maintenance
A damp or wet basement can cause more than just a headache; these issues can create bigger problems like mold, mildew, rot, structural damage, and a variety of health problems.
Installation of our WaterGuard and lateral feed lines involve removing a section of floor around the perimeter and through the middle of the floor to create a drainage trench.
The CarbonArmor system utilizes epoxy and carbon fiber strips to strengthen and stabilize foundation walls that are cracked or bowed.
The Geo-Lock Foundation Wall Anchor System permanently stops inward movement of walls and has the potential to straighten walls over time.
CleanSpace is attached to the basement walls with plastic drilled-in fasteners, so it will never fall off the wall. Any water seepage coming through the wall will be directed down into the perimeter drainage system.
Our crew finished off the project by installing hide-away wall anchor covers to give the basement a nice, finished look.
Our insulated floor decking is a continuous layer of rigid foam insulation that will keep your floors warm and help cut your home heating bills. It won't attract mold or be damaged by moisture.
The TripleSafe is our most reliable sump pump. It is backed by three levels of protection, including a battery backup system in the case of a tripped circuit, power outage, or sump failure.
Jean B. in Austin, MN contacted American Waterworks after seeing one of our commercials on TV. She had water seeping into her basement, and it was starting to do some damage to her property. She was concerned about the health implications, and she wanted a permanent solution. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, to meet with Jean, evaluate the situation and propose the best, cost-effective solution for her home. After Ryan’s inspection, he was able to recommend a combination of our foundation repair and waterproofing products to ensure Jean’s basement would remain a stable and dry space. Jean was impressed with Ryan’s inspection and presentation, and she moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew were successfully able to stabilize Jean’s basement walls with the installation of 12 Geo-Lock wall anchors and 7 CarbonArmor strips around the deteriorating foundation.
The crew began the waterproofing project with removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and installing 142 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system and feed line through the middle of the floor. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner and CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls. The crew completed the job with installing our EverLast Wall Restoration System and insulated floor decking. Lastly, they installed our SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of any humidity. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump. From there, the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Jean was amazed by the transformation, and we are happy we could help restore her peace of mind!
