Sunken Concrete Lifted in Wahpeton, ND

Challenge

A homeowner in Wahpeton, ND, noticed there was a drop in their driveway. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. The homeowner began looking through several options. Near the top of the list was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look. Solution

Jacob promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During the inspection, Jacob found that several areas were sinking due to settlement. To prevent these issues from worsening, Jacob recommended installing PolyLevel underneath the struggling concrete. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Jacob's proposal. Jacob and the homeowner worked together to schedule the project, then the plans were passed to our Logisitics team. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew started the installation. Charlie and his crwe lifted the sidewalk back to its original position with PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Once the area was lifted, the crew shifted to repairing the damaged joints with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the work completed by the crew.
