Sinking Sidewalk Lifted in La Crosse, WI

A homeowner in La Crosse, WI, was concerned that her sinking sidewalk would be a trip hazard for family and guests. Solution

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Will R., arrived at the home to assess the sidewalk. During the inspection, Will noticed signs of soil washout and explained to the homeowner that soil washout is the process where water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils. Over time, this causes gaps in the soil, and the slabs would begin to sink.
