Sinking Driveway Apron Lifted in Detroit Lakes, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Detroit Lakes, MN, disliked the look of their unlevel concrete. After looking into "sinking concrete repair near me", one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Speicalist, James. A few weeks later, James traveled to the home and started his thorough inspection.

Solution

During the inspection, James confirmed the sidewalk was sinking due to settlement. To prevent this issue from worsening, James recommended lifting and leveling the sidewalk back to its original position. The homeowner agreed and worked with James to find the best installation date. Once the date was selected, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Charlie and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel, a polyurthane foam injection solution, below the struggling sidewalk. Once the sidewalk was lifted, the crew shifted to repairing the joints and cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew.
