Solution
In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Will R, arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, he noticed signs of soil washout. He explained to the homeowner that soil washout is the process in which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soil, keeping the slabs upright. Over time, this causes gaps in the soil, and the slab would begin to sink. To fix this issue, Will recommended lifting the slabs with PolyLevel, our elite foam expanding solution, and sealing the joints with NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant. The homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations and decided to move forward with the project.
In a couple of months, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs. Next, PolyLevel is injected beneath the slab, filling in the gaps. Once the slab has been lifted, the crew seals the holes and shifts their attention to applying NexusPro along the joints.
