Challenge

A homeowner in Chanhassen, MN, had noticed their porch and walkway sinking due to inadequate soil. Unsure of what to do, the homeowner knew they needed expert advice and decided to contact us and schedule their FREE concrete estimate.

Solution

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Nicola G., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, Nicola took a close look at the concrete and identified signs of soil washout. Soil washout is the process in which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. After reporting her findings to the homeowner, Nicola created a proposal to fix their concrete issues. In that proposal, Nicola recommended lifting the concrete slabs with PolyLevel and sealing the joints with NexusPro. Not wanting to go through the troubles of mudjacking, the homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations and decided to move forward with the project.

In a couple of weeks, our Foreman, Bryce P., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. After successfully lifting the patio and walkway and sealing the joints, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
