Sinking Concrete Repaired in Devils Lake, ND
Challenge
A restaurant manager in Devils Lake, ND, noticed the sidewalk in front of their store was unlevel and damaged. Worried this could turn into a tripping hazard for pedestrians, the manager looked into "before and after concrete repair". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the manager took a closer look at our concrete lifting and leveling services. Impressed with our stellar concrete leveling services, the homeowner knew that we were the ideal company for their project and signed up for their FREE estimate.
Solution
Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Jackson. A few days later, Jackson traveled to the restaurant to begin the thorough inspection. During the inspection, Jackson noted the sidewalk slabs were sinking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Jackson recommended securing PolyLevel and NexusPro throughout the sidewalk. Knowing this was the best plan of action, Jackson agreed and worked with the manager to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Charlie and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel below the sunken slabs. Once the slabs were lifted with PolyLevel, the crew shifted to NexusPro, a silicone-based solution to repair the cracks and joints throughout the concrete. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home.
