A homeowner in Decorah, IA, noticed the steps leading to their home were severly uneven and damaged. Unsure of the cause of the damage, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. Solution
A few days later, Romeo traveled to the home to begin the thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Romeo confirmed the steps were sinking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Romeo recommended lifting several concrete slabs back to their original position. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Romeo to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Ryan, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Ryan and his crew started by inserting PolyLevel below the sunken slabs. Once the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted to repairing the joints and cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Finally, the crew applied SealantPro to seal the concrete steps. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew.
