Challenge

Sharon S. in Rochester, MN had learned about the dangers of radon gas and decided that she needed to get her home tested. The test results showed a high level of radon. Our Design Specialist, Kevin Kreofsky, walked Sharon through the radon mitigation installation process and answered her questions. Sharon wanted to act quickly so she had the system installed as soon as possible.

Solution

Our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, was able to successfully mitigate the high levels of radon that were occurring in Sharon’s home by installing our radon mitigation system. He drilled a small hole through her basement floor to create a suction point. Then, he installed PVC piping through her home to the outside. The gas is pushed by a fan through the pipe and expelled from the home. Sharon is glad she took action to protect the health of her family.
