Radon Gas in Saint Michael, MN Mitigated

Challenge

A homeowner in Saint Michael, MN, recently learned that his neighbor has a radon mitigation system installed in their home. Realizing the homeowner had never tested his home for radon, the homeowner took action by purchasing a radon testing kit. After a couple of days, the test results were above 4 pCi/L and the homeowner contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate.

Solution

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Gary S., arrived at the home for the inspection. Gary created a solution and a design for where our radon mitigation system would be installed. Gary explained to the homeowner that our system would be installed at the sump pump so that it can suction out the radon-rich air and spew it outdoors. After reviewing the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to Gary's design and scheduled the installation date.

In about a month, one of our crews arrived at the home for the installation. They installed the PVC pipe through the sump pump. That pipe is then connected to the radon mitigation system that is installed in the attic of the garage. After they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
