Solution
In a couple of days, our Design Specialist, Bryan R., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, he took a close look at the layout of the home, working closely with the homeowner to determine the best placement of our radon mitigation system. He recommended installing the fan on the exterior of the home and connecting it to the concrete floor in the basement. This system is designed this way so that it can suction out the radon gas beneath the home and expel it above the roofline before it can enter the home. Happy with the recommendation and with their experience with Bryan, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.
In about a month, our Foreman, Dakota M., and his crew arrived for the installation. The crew began by drilling into the concrete floor in the basement. PVC piping was added and connected to the exterior of the home. Then, the fan was installed, and additional piping was added to reach above the roofline.
