This crawlspace had standing water and a lingering odor throughout the basement.  American Waterworks installed Cleanspace liners to keep the moisture out and reduce the relative humidity in the crawlspace.

Patrick C. in Cresco, IA had water leaking into his basement. He was concerned about the damage that it was causing to his home, so he contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. Rick worked closely with Patrick to create the right waterproofing plan for his home. Patrick approved of the proposal that Rick presented to him, so he scheduled the installation.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his crew installed 127 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. Then, they installed a SuperSump sump pump. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump and from there, the sump pump pushes the water through the discharge line and expels it from the home. Our waterproofing system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Patrick has peace of mind that he chose the right solution to protect his basement for the long-term.

Toni and Bonnie M. of Cresco, IA had water leaking into the two bedrooms in their basement and they didn't know where it was leaking from. They were getting tired of cleaning the carpet, so they got in contact with our office line and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick. Rick went to their home and figured out that the water was leaking from their basement window. Rick proposed our Egress Window Well, which provides more natural lighting and fresh air while providing a safe emergency egress. Toni and Bonnie were confident in Rick's solution, so they signed the contract and followed through with the project.

Our Foreman, Jose, and his production team began the project by digging out the soil around the existing window, forming a large hole to fit the egress into. These window wells provide rigid construction that doesn't collapse from the backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. to complete the installation, our team backfilled the soil around the egress, ensuring that their working space was neater than when they found it. Toni and Bonnie were thrilled with the completion and their peace of mind was restored!

Our basement has water coming in after heavy rain and we would like to have the issue fixed so the space can be finished.
Project Location: Cresco, IA
We moved into our home last summer. During the summer/fall, we had experienced water in our basement during "heavy" rain. More water than the previous owners had mentioned would occur. Recently, since the snow has been melting, we have noticed water leaking in again. It occurs in 2 places in the unfinished section of our basement. We are worried about the price of fixing a leaking basement, but would love an estimate to see if it's as bad as we think it is.

I have one spot in the basement when it rains heavy that water will come up in the floor. Currently have 2 dehumidifiers running to keep moisture lower. Really getting tired of vacuuming up water when it rains heavy outside. I also have a sump pump installed but that does not help the water will still come up through the floor.
Project Location: Cresco, IA
We get a little bit of water in our basement if we have a lot of rain. We are thinking of adding another bedroom down there and don't want any water issues. Basement is partially finished with a ceramic tile floor, not sure if any of that affects what you guys have to do or not.
Project Location: Cresco, IA
Not an urgent project but we would like to foam jack our patio slab that has settled. You can contact me when you would be in the area.
